Pets, particularly cats and very small dogs, can get their heads caught inside plastic bags --
even chip bags. The warnings about not leaving children alone with plastic bags should also
be followed with dogs. Remember -- your dog has the same judgment as a two year-old
child. A Pekingese dog got its head caught inside a potato chip bag while it's owner was not
home. The owner returned to find a limp and seemingly lifeless dog, but she was able to
save him with quick action and knowledge of canine CPR.
